Sounds good Guy.

(I stroke the SA80 from time to time, an old friend who will have it's day once more... )

Back on topic, regarding Stubble.
Gadge posted up a link to the D-Day on the WWII forum. I winced a bit as I knew what would follow. It took longer than I thought but sure enough.. Stubble tried to apease (calling the vid shit though didn't help), I posted to clarify and Dolby came to our defense and then got into a barny with his own kind. Not pretty.

Anyway, Chris PM'd me thanking me for supporting him - LOL, I wasn't, but there you go. PM convo's:

Chris:

Thanks for the support things were getting a little hairy over there about Gadges' cheasy vid!

Me:

I held off posting as long as I could - the thing is, it only fans the flames.
I'm not sure it's a good idea to post anything airsoft related on the reenactor forums as it only gets them agitated!
Hey ho...

Chris:

Have you had a look lately! Its gone totally crazy, Gadge has really lit a fuse, they'll be throwing grenade at each other in a minute! In furture I'm only posting top quality images on their sites, if at all.

Me:

I'm afraid it happens every time - just mention the word 'airsoft' and it's like a red rag to some of them.
However, that's just the vocal ones - there are many, many more who are interested and intrigued but either don't dare or are too sensible to voice opinions of their forum.
Hit's to the forum this afternoon from guests show this and I would also point out that reenactors who are registered to this forum generally have their profiles set to 'hidden' - I can see who they are, you can't!
Incidentally, this is why I'm desperate to avoid 'politics' and divisions on our forum - sure we all have different 'takes' on it but there is absolutely no need for bickering and back-biting. OK, the reenacting scene has a 'history', you saw a bit of that bubbling up in the thread, but even so, no needs for nastiness - it's only a hobby!

Chris:

Got to say, todays' little insight has turned me off them, very bitchy, not nice and certainly not what I want to get involved in.

Lesson learned? I wonder...

Argghhh , not sure what cheesy vid (Rupes?)

We were all hoping Chris would fuck off to reenacting , not stay here as ss king of the "too frightened to be reenacting but can't be arsed with airsofting " photowhores ....we need to encourage him  not put him off .

Kidding aside I couldn't give a hoot if reenactors liked it or not , I did , plenty of people who saw it liked it , who cares otherwise .

OMFG, you turncoat! Come to think of it Jay, Steve and me are the only true WW2-ers - you are still a DPM nobber

Erm................

I have a confession. I have two custom built MP5's and a fook load of Yank kit. S'only for getting me 3 games in not less than 2 months done at my local site - and frankly, i ain't taking the WW2 stuff to that place, not after the thieving that happened a few months ago

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Back on topic again.

I've politely posted in the thread on the Kampfgruppe forum to hint that this is a US driven day, not a communal German mutual wank-fest.

What's the story with the Falshy guys 'setting pyro'? Is this supremely dodgy or not? I assume it's Che, but does anyone know what they're setting and how qualified they are to do this? I have images of holding someone's face together.

Che and Carl are doing it - and they are not 'qualified' AFAIK other than they are Sturmpioneers

We have Keith with us who is a site marshal and also 'G' will be with us for the day (he is the site manager and first-aider) - G will be supervising them closely.

BTW, Stubble asked Keith yesterday if the foreigners could stay overnight on Sunday  He was told to feck off, the building is locked and closed as soon as we have done!
I hope he has made proper arrangements with these guys, I have no information at all about them.

Thanks finally to my section (Richardshultze, The Reich Stuff, Frontschwein & Steve D). Thought we worked pretty well together. For me at least it would be good to keep that section composition for future games where possible..... If you guys are happy with it that is?

Because in airsoft we all know how well that works!
